As I type this, I’m nearing the END of Week 13, which means… Hello 2nd Trimester!!
You see I keep hearing… that the 2nd trimester is the absolute best. You feel great, start to pop out a little baby bump and get that glow! I’m hoping this all happens soon!!
So now, I’m ready to truly embrace and enjoy being pregnant.
We had our monthly OB checkup last week, which was great. We got to hear our precious baby’s heartbeat which is seriously like music to my ears. I wish I would have had Jeff record it, perhaps next time.
My next appointment is May 4th! I'm hoping I can convince my OBGYN to give me a guess on the gender but he seemed pretty adamant that he wouldn't guess until 20 weeks. That is almost June! So I don't know if I can wait that long (or Cynthia or LuAnn for that matter) so I might do an elective one a little early. We shall see...
So yay for the 2nd trimester. I am now anxiously awaiting those first kicks that I should feel in the next few weeks!
