Best moment this week? Feeling flutters...best way to describe it is it feels like a little fish is swimming in my belly I can't wait to feel a real karate chop!
Food cravings? I was dying for Babe's Chicken and we went there for dinner tonight...soooo good!
Gender? Can't wait to find out!

Symptoms? I think my energy is starting to come back I still wish I could have a nap every day

Maternity clothes? Bought some maternity jeans yesterday and I am in LOVE!
Best moment this week? I think I am starting to feel little flutters. No idea if it is movement for sure but it definitely feels different

Progression of the "Bump"

14 weeks...at the beach!!

This weekend I went with Cynthia and my Dad to Hollywood, FL for a fabulous destination wedding! We had a great time!

How far along are you? 14 weeks!

How big is baby? size of a lemom

Weight gain/loss? I haven't weighed since Thursday but then I was up 2 pounds

Strech marks? nothing yet

Maternity clothes? I have just been using the rubberband trick and Bella Band on my pants, have a couple maternity tops that are super comfortable but most tops are still regular

Best moment this week? entering second trimester

Food cravings? lots of sweets!

Gender? Too early to know but I can't wait to find out!

2nd Trimester!!

As I type this, I’m nearing the END of Week 13, which means… Hello 2nd Trimester!!

You see I keep hearing… that the 2nd trimester is the absolute best. You feel great, start to pop out a little baby bump and get that glow! I’m hoping this all happens soon!!

So now, I’m ready to truly embrace and enjoy being pregnant.

We had our monthly OB checkup last week, which was great. We got to hear our precious baby’s heartbeat which is seriously like music to my ears. I wish I would have had Jeff record it, perhaps next time.

My next appointment is May 4th! I'm hoping I can convince my OBGYN to give me a guess on the gender but he seemed pretty adamant that he wouldn't guess until 20 weeks. That is almost June! So I don't know if I can wait that long (or Cynthia or LuAnn for that matter) so I might do an elective one a little early. We shall see...

So yay for the 2nd trimester. I am now anxiously awaiting those first kicks that I should feel in the next few weeks!

PUBLIC!

I told work this morning and we annouced it on facebook today! Feels so good to be public and not have to hide it anymore!! We had an appointment this morning to get the NT Scan. Doctor said all of the measurements looked good. They also tried to give us a gender prediction but little baby was being difficult and they couldn't give us a good guess! At first they said boy and then they said oh wait no maybe girl. So now we will just have to wait and see when we officially find out. I can't wait for that.
